Fiona Coote brings over thirty years of classroom magic to her writing. As a former primary school teacher, she spent decades watching young minds light up with wonder, learning exactly which stories make children laugh, gasp, and beg for "just one more page."

Now, she channels that experience into creating tales that capture the boundless imagination of childhood. Her writing is deeply inspired by the places she loves most: the wild, windswept shores of Cornwall, where the sea whispers ancient stories, and the gentle wilderness of Hampstead Heath, where adventure hides behind every ancient oak.

Whether it is the crash of Cornish waves or the rustle of leaves on the Heath, nature's rhythms find their way into every story she tells.
